We don’t ask who you are and we don’t keep your files. Here are the details.
Last updated 19 August 2026Do you keep my files?
No. A file that reaches our server is deleted as soon as the conversion is done, whether it worked or not. Nothing is saved to a database, backed up, or read by a person. Files are capped at 30 MB and a conversion is stopped after two minutes, so nothing sits around.
Do my files get uploaded?
Some are. A few formats can only be converted on our server, so those files go over an encrypted connection and come back as soon as they are done.
Do you use my files for anything else?
No. We don’t train anything on them, sell them, or pass them to anyone.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and we never ask for your email address. We keep no history of what you convert.
Do you use cookies or analytics?
No cookies, no analytics, no ad or tracking scripts. The only thing saved is whether you picked the light or dark theme. It stays in your browser and clearing your browser data removes it.
What do you log?
Normal request logs: IP address, time, which endpoint was called, and whether it worked. File names and file contents are not in them. We also count recent requests per IP address so one person can’t hog the service, and those counters clear themselves within the hour.
How long do you keep the logs?
Only as long as we need them to keep the site running and to deal with abuse. After that they go.
Is anyone else involved?
The site runs on Google Cloud, our hosting provider. They handle the requests and produce the logs above. No other company gets your files.
Can you delete my data?
There is normally nothing to delete: no account, no stored files, no history. If you think we hold something about you anyway, email us and we will sort it out.
Will this page change?
If we change how any of this works, we update the answers and the date at the top. Anything you want to ask about it, write to hello@your-domain.com.
